I just got my top braces i didnt get spacers or anything just top braces and for me the plastic thing did hurt only because my ortho hsd it sticking my my gums! But getting the brackets on is truly painless and i didnt evenknow he had them on he just said gorinse and i looked in the mirror Andi had brackets! I thought he was justspecially cleaning my teeth!hah and after i rinsed i got the wire andcolors the wire take two seconds and doesnthurtbut the colors give u a little tug but nothing bad..
