The International Foundation for Education and Research (IFSER) is to improve access to quality education and information dedicated to the world community by ultrasound scholarship programs and educational products. IFSER a positive contribution to the global community through the support of all ultrasound practices the science of ultrasound through the world or who worked in the research ultrasound can we raise the profession and in the practice of this valuable medical technology to all in need.

In 1999 Don Milburn, who was then Diasonics, which was a radical idea at the time. 0 Diasonics would sell from each machine, give a donation to a scholarship fund for students ultrasound. It was a collaboration of educators, business representatives and clinical sonographers who got together and created the first foundation of its kind

Now, more than 20 years later, that same group of people a broader vision. We believe that by working with various organizations, both nonprofit and commercial, we can all have a greater impact on ultrasound in the world. The best way to achieve this is to set up an organization full-fledged non-profit that no connection with an association, organization or commercial entity has. The organization is the International Foundation for Education and Research Sonography. (IFSFR) It has its own Board and dedicated staff.

Since its founding, the organization has donated more than 0,000 scholarships, developed teaching materials, organized 7 Professional Awards and grants distributed through 0000th The extent of his work has touched many in the town of ultrasound.
