Online dental hygienist schools?
Question : Online dental hygienist schools?
I”m looking for any school that offers an all online dental hygiene program. My husband is in the military and we have an infant so online schooling is my best option right now…does anyone know of any schools online that offer a degree in dental hygiene? Thanks!

If there are any, paying for the courses would not be a good idea. Dental hygiene has to be learned hands-on. If you were a dentist would you want to hire a hygienist with only online training? Would you want to go to one as a patient?

In some cases, going online does not work for every degree and program. I’m sure that you could do any sort of studying or science classes to gain that necessary knowledge-based information before delving into dental hygiene (eLearners.com is a great place to start browsing to get some of those prereqs out of the way possibly!)
But as of right now, with the current technology, there is not an all online dental hygiene program. Perhaps you could wait until your child is a little older or be a medical assistant so you’ll at least be in the same environment.
