New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer brought against Guidant Corporation in New York State Supreme Court in Manhattan. The lawsuit alleges Guidant failed, their defects, implantable cardiac defibrillators have caused short-circuited to disclose.

Martinez and Rosenbaum Faria, LLP, a bilingual law firm with offices in New York and Los Angeles, has established a point of information on its website on defective defibrillators. The company is a founding member of the group that takes a national Guidant and Medtronic, to force companies to cover the cost of parts and surgical killed and damages to the victim or by poor equipment. The company has pledged its support for the Generala NY Attorney? S is the continuation of both Guidant and Medtronic.

In September 2005, Guidant Corporation has announced the recall of more pacemaker models, including the Insignia and Nexus devices. The announcement continued a long series of recalls of heart device manufacturer.

Medtronic, another manufacturer of cardiac devices is also subject to litigation, because his massive equipment with batteries and other defects are poorly equipped.

Both companies have refused to accept the responsibility.
