Laser hair removal – is it possible to just reduce hair in some areas and not totally remove?
Question : Laser hair removal – is it possible to just reduce hair in some areas and not totally remove?
I would like to have hair removed in some parts and thin down or reduce in some others. Is the latter option possible?
I have light (semi light) skin and dark hair – as I am told laser works on this type.

Laser hair removal can absolutely reduce the hair in areas…in fact, people who are going for a completely smooth, hair-free result are told that it will take several sessions of laser treatment to reach that effect. So if all you’re going for is a reduction of hair, one or maybe two treatments should give you great results. Good luck!
If you are only looking to thin or reduce hair on your body, then laser hair removal is going to be perfect for you. Most people are under the false impression that laser hair removal can completely, and permanently remove the hair. In reality, for most people, some of the hair grows back, but at a much slower, and thinner rate.
If you only want to reduce the amount of hair you are going to be a lot happier with the results of the procedure. Dark hair is perfect of the procedure, luckily for you, and should require fewer treatments.
