IMPORTANT UPDATE! Due to several factors Jessie’s Hope Society has extended the YouTube competition until January 25, 2008! The Contest: Jessie’s Hope Society (www.jessieshope.org) wants to hear from all British Columbian youth on self-esteem and body image! With our celebrity judge, Lauren Toyota from MuchMusic On-air Host and Segment Producer of Going Coastal Enter at www.youtube.com/group/jessieshope by first joining the group, and then clicking “add video” and upload a video meeting these criteria: – Maximum three minutes – Submitted before Jan 25, 2008 – You are a resident of British Columbia between the ages of 12 and 22 inclusive (proof required for prizes). – Your video demonstrates how you and/or your family and/or friends develop self-esteem, body image and inner strength to live with a healthy mind, body and soul despite pressures from media, fashion, sports, diet industries and even friends. What makes you strong? IMPORTANT: To be considered for the awards, upon submission you must email the youtube video link, your youtube username, age, location and name/phone number. TO HAVE YOUR VIDEO SCREENED AT THE THEATRE WE MUST ARRANGE TO GET A HIGH QUALITY VERSION BY DVD IN THE MAIL OR INTERNET UPLOAD BEFORE JAN 25.
