Question : I am scared to go to a eating disorder specialist!!!?
I am scared to go to a doctor for apparently my “eating disorder”. Everyone said I have a problem but I tell them am just on a diet!! I am scared what the specialist will say! My mom said if this doesn’t work I will have to go to rehab but I don’t understand I am just on a diet!! But anyways does anyone know what to expect and or what you think of this?!?!

They will probably try to talk to you about your issues with food and your self image, and overcoming them. It’s for your own good, take advantage of it and participate, you may not think so but your mother knows exactly what’s best for you in this case. Eating disorders kill people. She truly loves you and she doesn’t want you to suffer of an eating disorder.

I agree with the others, if you Mum is that worried then you proabably do have a probelm and dont realise it yourself just see what they say. Also you should try to enjoy your food if you dont weigh much then you may not need to be on a diet just eat what you like and do light excercise is great for your body and good for your mind too!!
