Question : How much do infertility test costs if insurance will NOT cover it?
My husband and I are having problems conceiving. My periods are SUPER irregular, so my doctor has advised that I begin infertility tests. My husband and I are both healthy 24 years olds. Because of my lack of periods I would think that I could take Clomid or something, so I could ovulate. My doctor wants to do all kinds of tests and our insurance will not cover infertility tests and/or infertility drugs, so how much would I expect to pay out of pocket for all this to be done?

Very easily up to, and perhaps more than $ 10,000. Those tests are very costly.
