Question : How long does it take to recover from having your permanent veneers put on?
I’ve already had my temporary veneers done, and they are putting in my real ones on thursday. I’ve heard it takes longer to recover, and that you can be more swollen having your permanent veneers in vs. your temporary. Other than my speech pattern causing a lisp, which is fine now, I was ok to go back to work with two days off. I work as a waitress, so talking at work is paramount. Any suggestions or experience you could share from those who have veneers?

There should be no recovery period as far as soreness, swelling, or pain. The bonding of the veneers is a very non traumatic experience, less than the first appointment. Good luck with them. I hope they look great.
