Immediately following surgery, you can only tolerate a couple ounces of food at a time but as you progress, you can eat more. You must drink water..lots of water. Around 60 oz a day! You also must take multi-vitamins daily. I had my surgery in Oct 2007. I can eat a cup of food at a sitting but I eat 6 small meals a day. 1000 calories a day. I walk 5 miles per day. I’ve lost 150 ponds and onyl need to lose another 15. I live every day to fullest because I can!!
