Consumer Credit Union Celebrates International Credit Union

Thursday, October 15, 2009 is International Credit Union Day … at a time, why the movement was founded and how the benefits of the general public into account. In this spirit, the consumer Credit Union (CCU, 0 m. Waukegan, IL) invites all – members and non members – for this special occasion to celebrate. Credit Union and members of the Board of Directors of Credit Union members of the customers at all six locations greet CCU (6).
Credit Union movement was founded on the principles of providing significant benefits and assistance to members. The movement began in Germany in the 1800s and quickly spread to North America – first in Canada and the United States. The first credit union in the United States was in Manchester, New Hampshire. Today, the Credit Union membership to around 90 million people in the United States alone has increased.
A need
gradually create an annual event to make the positive impact of credit unions celebrate the life of the members. In 1948, the American fund managers feel strongly enough about this idea, devotes a day to bring the members together. Consequently, set two national institutions – Credit Union National Association and CUNA Mutual Insurance Society – the third Thursday in October, the history of the cooperative credit unions and the many benefits available for members to remember.
