And thats it? The tooth is being healed? I have very big problems with my teeth and i am so afraid of going to fix the problem. Im facing big pains and i still cant decide to go. If this is the way of laser teeth healing i will go at this moment

Well too bad but i dont live in America :S. I started with the threatments and it was a little bit more painfull. I had some infection in the root canal, which followed with infection removal and removal of the tooth nerv. I have fracture of the front teeths and today the first one was fixed.

I have always had great teeth. Now I got one killing me and I am freaking at what they might do lol. I am cringing seeing these vids. I hope its not as bad as it feels. (my tooth)

Dr. Colonna is my dentist. My daughter and I both have had cavities fixed with the laser. It is quick and virtually painless. Costs a little more, but well worth it!

I want to become a doctor when I grow up, and I’m just curious, what does the laser itself do? Make the pulp or something like that to swell up and cover cavity or the tooth tissue grows back??? Because in the video, it looked like the missing bit of the tooth just grew back .
Pls pls pls lend me know what happens when you do the laser healing?????????????????????????????

Enamel (the outer structure of the tooth) never grows back. This video illustrates the removal of caries lesions (destroyed tooth structure). The dentist still must place a composite (enamel like material) into the hole to fill it. I believe the only advantage of lasers at the moment is the lack of sound from the drill . Hope this helped

ya i have EXTREMELY sensitive teeth and i was like you and was very scared to go when i went they had to drill my tooth and it was the worst pain i have ever felt in my entire life. It turns out that 1 of the reasons it hurt so bad was because i was so scared.
