Question : Becoming an inpatient for eating disorders?
How can someone get into an inpatient program? I know it’s expensive, but is there anyway to get financial assistance if there is no way to pay for it out of pocket?

When I get really bad, seeing the insurance i have sux! I go to the ER and they usually end up referring me to a treatment center.Now that don’t mean they keep me.I have been thrown out in less than 3 weeks! It is according to Ur state I suppose.Our state is horrid when It comes to that.U can go to ur local mental health center,it is usually based on ur income, but our center has no one really qualified in eating disorders…They only know what they read from a book basically and act lost as h***.Try ur mental health and regular health center.Call ur local hospital and ask about support groups in ur area.Put a ad in ur local paper also asking for a support group to be started.We had one years ago, But unfortunately It doesn’t exist anymore.
