Argosy University, Nashville? s College of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences announced today that it is to create a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology program in their curriculum this fall. This is the first Psy.D. Program offered in Tennessee and gave students an alternative to the traditional Ph.D. in clinical psychology.
Psy.D. Clinical Psychology program is designed to educate and prepare students for potential roles that clinical psychologists. The program integrates theory of psychology, education and practice, and other basic skills practice and theory. Faculty members are practicing psychologists, guidance practitioners model study / program.
