Ascend Recovery is proud to announce an addition to the therapist Ascend recovery personnel, Kimberlee Garner, LCSW. Kimberlee received her Master of Social Work and is a licensed clinical social worker with more than eight years experience in drug abuse and dual diagnosis. She comes from the philosophy of both the disease model of addiction, understanding the bio-psychosocial component, but also approaches to addiction treatment philosophy in mind, a dual diagnosis of mental body.
Kimberlee is an important addition to the Ascend Recovery Team, the provision of expertise and experience that will contribute significantly to the patients on their way to recovery. Previously, she worked as clinical director of the House of Hope, a residential program for drug abuse treatment for women and children, is dedicated to trauma, drug abuse and intergenerational relationships successful recovery. She has worked in the inpatient treatment of eating disorders as a therapist and art therapist. Ryan Salter, Clinical Director and founder of Ascend Recovery said, a??
