In the U.S., 25.9 million men (23.9 percent) and 20.7 million women (18.1 percent) are smokers.
Despite decades of dire warnings about the dangers of smoking, people continue to use all age groups of cigarettes and other tobacco products.
In response to the tobacco epidemic continues, the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) has recently launched a smoking cessation initiative task force was formed in 2006. ASA member David O.
