Warrior I scoliosis
Here I show a warrior I for someone with a left lumbar scoliosis. If it is left, the curves on the right side inside, if you want to consider an extension of the right lower back, stretching along the curve inward. I have that video on demand, but I recommend, see Elise Browning Miller, who specializes in yoga for scoliosis. Take a look at www. yogaforscoliosis. com.

I have right thoracic (begins T3) scoliosis and am wondering if this would work for me too. My ribs are uneven and any flexion is very difficult. Do not want to overwhelm you with medical queries, but just curious.
And I echo what everyone else has expressed that you are terrific and a special yoga instructor, indeed.

@Daniea3 Hi, I don’t know whether it will work for you too, but I would try.. Think about lengthening out the concave side, not so much flexion if it hurts, but more lengthening. Forget about how the pose should be, find a way into it that makes sense to your body with the aim to stretch out the concaved side. Let me know

@yogatic Thank Esther for your yogic perspective in things. I am now working on lengthening the concave and tighter side more as well as strengthening the opposite and consequently much weaker side. I am enjoying this interpreation on Warrior I. I am finding that downward puppy (on knees rather then feet like dog) is very, very beneficial in elongating the thoracic spine. Love your insight and instruction and always looking forward to more to come from you. Hugs.
