Medical science hasn’t advances too much at all. In regards to incurable diseases it hasn’t advanced. All they can advance with incurable or chronic illnesses is the drugs you take to control the chronic illness and not get rid of the illness. Other advancements are desguised as advancements when they are only achievements like operating on a person in two diffrent parts of the world.

I’m 22 years old, and have been diagnosed with crohns since I was 16. I have been on remission on and off since then, but this year has been rough. I have had to drop out of two semesters of school, and have lost a lot of weight. It’s been rough, but it’s so inspiring to realize people are going through what I am.

i’m 22 and was diagnosed with crohns a year ago. at the time i was just about to start my honors year in history and i never imagined it would be so hard to handle. this year has been really rough, i have yet to complete my thesis and i am about to go back to a specialist because i appear to be relapsing. i can only hope it gets better cause i’m not sure if i can deal with another year like this one.

I most likely have crohns… I’m going in for my colonoscopy tomorrow morning. I beleive I have minor crohnes disease… I had it for a year with out knowing what it was probably since it was minor. It makes me nervous that its actually a disease and not curable. But having it never prevented me from going out doing things or playing sports. I feel it hurting inside me right now but it is bearable. I wont let crohns live my life.

I just had a colonoscopy yesterday and I most likely have Crohn’s disease. Sort of suspected it for about 5 years beforehand but didn’t do anything about it until it caused me a great deal of discomfort and pain. I’m a college student and it really affected my attendance – and quite possibly my grades too. If I can give anyone good advice, it’s if you suspect that you might have something wrong with your health, get diagnosed as soon as you can. I wish I did that before.
