This is a subject you really need to be discussing with your doctor….Also, do NOT just stop taking a prescribed medication on your own. ALWAYS discuss these issues with the prescribing doctor.
Having just looked at the drug information, I would not recommend going cold turkey from any drug that is used in relation to you being in any way Diabetic.
It’s something that you should discuss with your doctor. If your borderline diabetic, then just stopping your medication could send you into full diabetes, which you really don’t want to do.
Diabete’s can cause alot of problems, such as Neuropathy (affects the nerves), Nephropathy (kidney disease), retinitis (blindness – destroys the retina of the eye), you can lose limbs because of diabetes.
Don’t be silly, your 19 years old, if you control your diabetes properly and learn about the condition, you can live a long and happy life, you don’t need to let it rule you, UNDERSTAND it, don’t be scared of it or feel depressed about it, your not the only person with the condition in the world.
Have a look online for a support group or go and see your diabetes specialists at your local hospital.
