There’s a topical ointment called Bensal Hp that you can use in adjunct to a systemic. It will accelerate the healing, control infection, debride and moisturize. Just had a study come out by Dr. Alan Jacobs, DPM, of St. Louis, MO. He compared Bensal Hp to Silverdine and Bensal decreased the wound size by almost 20% more than Silverdine. It will be in the October 2008 issue of Advanced Wound and Healing.
