Is having itchy skin, normal after chemotherapy is over?
I have recently finished chemotherapy for Hodgkin’s lymphoma. My last treatment was June 26. Within the last week was really irritated my skin. However, I have not eaten or otherwise used or new. But my skin is super itchy and I can not seem to get it off. Does anyone know if this is normal or have any suggestions?
I always wondered if if was possible too. My daughter had 2 hard and tough years of chemo treatment for Leukemia. Three years later, she complains that her bones are itchy, maybe somewhat similar to what you are feeling. Apparently it’s a nasty side effect, but I keep telling her a side effect that is so much better than the alternative!!! Good luck with it. Use lots of lotion. Hopefully that will help.
