I have migraines a lot lately. I usually take Imitrex. I hate the rapid heart symptom. Is there anything else?
I use injections and want fast relief. I can bedridden for three days at a time. Please let me know if you have had success with anything else.

I had migraines like you and lost half my visual field in the process.
I had to look at my lifestyle.
Get rid of the stress. Eliminate Sulfa foods(preservatives), smoked foods and drink strong coffee or a lot of caffeine sodas at the slightest onset of a migraine. Am now free of migraines.
Note…caffiene constricts the dialated blood vessels which occurs with migraine and reverses the process.

I have had great success with a drug called Relpax. I do not experience any side effects, and never had to repeat the dose. One tablet usually gets the job done. Don’t let a migraine get bad. Take your medication {what ever it is} at the onset of a migraine, it will be easier to get rid of.
