How can I turn to a random sample of dentists?
I take this project on statistics, where I turn to dentists and ask them a yes or no Frage.Haben you have any idea how I was able to find a large sample of dentists and email / call them to them poll? Thank you!
First go to your dentist. If it is a group practice that means more than 1 dentist works there so ask them. Or visit a dental college and ask them.
You should type up a survey and bring it to local dental offices and explain whom you are, that you are doing research, what the research is looking for, and why you are doing this research.
For example:
“hello. My name is Amy Smith. I am doing a research paper on how much dentists love their job and what made them become a dentist. This paper is for my 8th grade english class at Town School. I was wondering if I could leave some surveys I have created and if you could ask the dentists when they have a moment to fill out a survery for me. It can be completely anonymous.”
And either leave a self addressed stamped envelope where they can mail it back to you for free. (tell them when you need it by). OR tell the office manager that you will come back in 2 days at 5pm to pick up any completed surveys. And thank them for their time.
