You don’t look large, and the camera adds what, 10 pounds they say? You look like a gorgeous Barbie! People are generally shocked when I tell them I am a size 16, and they always say things like, oh – you don’t look “that big!” I don’t know whether to be flattered or not, but I do know that men seem to take notice of me!

Thank you, NeskaBean. I think healthy people come in all sizes and shapes. Facts show that many heavy-set people are much healthier than their skinny counterparts. Thin does not necessarily equal healthy if the composition of that body is not fit. I have fitness goals that include getting myself into the appropriate body fat ratio 18 – 25%, rather than a certain size or a certain weight.

Thank you for your comment! I adore Coldwater Creek, but I don’t always shop online there. What I love about their clothes is that they are tasteful, modest, natural fabrics and designed for real women, I am full-figured and not interested in what’s hot, I’m interested in what looks great ON ME. I learned to create ensembles when I used to shop at thrift stores, combining style, texture and line.
