Why are not you suppose to a bowel movement after cataract surgery tribe?
I recently had cataract surgery, implantation, where it a new lens. The nurse told me not to my stool trunk. Why did she me, and what are the possible dangers that? I know it has something to do with the pressure of the eye, but what it does, to displace it, the implant?
Pressure in the eye could cause a possible hemorrhage. Be sure to get a lot of fiber in your diet from fruits, veggies and whole grains. Also drink plenty of water and get mild exercise, such as walking or gardening — nothing too strenuous until you’re healed and the doc gives you the green light. Also try a stool softener, such as Dulcolax, so you won’t have to strain.
