Which supplements can help the immune system is stronger after the cancer treatment?
My friend recently had all the lymph nodes removed from the right side of his neck and shoulder after 3 months of very aggressive cancer. His immune system is so weak, his body can not seem to heal the wounds. What can he help his immune system to do more, any advice on supplements etc would be so helpful! Thank you!

Hi Big T, one of my friend has an experience with cancer too, he should do the chemotherapy until now, during the chemotherapy he eats the supplement that he bought from the website below, the supplement really helps him to survive from chemotherapy effect, the supplements doesn’t make him became bald after chemotherapy, the condition of his body quite stable until now…

This question REALLY needs to be posed to your doctor. While yahoo answers people are eager to help, and there may be some doctors in the house, you should not take medical advice from strangers on the internet.
That being said, look into eating more wholesome and nutritious foods in addition to whatever supplements your doctors suggest. I wish you all the best.

Any supplements should always be cleared first by the treating oncologist.
Many “natural” remedies and even some vitamin supplements etc can actually counteract the action of some types of chemotherapy.
I had many well-meaning friends who recommended all sorts of treatments and supplements while I was going through my treatment, some of them were offended when I politely refused their offer to supply the recommended supplement. This particular supplement was actually one my oncologist had already warned me to avoid.
Friends have their place providing support physically, financially or emotionally but leave the health care to the medical team.
