What are the medical rules for asthma-type conditions and commercial airline pilots?
I am 17 years and always wanted to be a pilot with the RAF. Had just been rejected, since I had asthma symptoms “when I was younger, was been tested for asthma and the diagnosis was negative. But they say now because I am sensitive to respiratory diseases I can fly before. I have no problems now and will be hard pressed to find someone fitter than me. If the medical rules the same for commercial pilots?
No, i just passed my medical clearing me up to commercial pilot standards, and i had bad asthma when i was younger, but grew out of it.
