What are the chances of drug tests while on probation for assault in Texas?
Maybe delayed for two years ajudication search for assault in Texas. Im not sure if it is monitored or not. What are the chances of monthly drug tests during the two years and what are the rules about alcohol? Ive been looking for here, no drugs or alcohol were involved in the incident. Am I not be able to drink legally for two years?

They will drug test you, trust me. I did something that wasn’t drug related either and I had to do a piss test, but only once since I wasn’t on probation too long. Yes, you will be able to drink! lol Most of the time, if isn’t drug related or alcohol related they will tell you when you have to do the drug test. So don’t drink 48 hours before your drug test. Also, if you like to toke it up such as I do, DETOX!!! lmao But it’s truly up to your P.O. about drug testing.

The rules of probation will depend on your judgment. You will be monitored. YOU WILL BE DRUG TESTED! As for alcohol, I jump out on a limb and say you will not be allowed to drink. However, some states look at the circumstances of the offense and that will determine if it is in the rules. The Court will consider whether or not you were drinking/drugging during the assault. However, some states have a no alcohol clause as a standard condition. Standard Conditions can not be altered by the Court.
