@andy77718 I understand your argument and I respect your opinion. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I have to disagree with you though. I used to have a learning disability with math, reading and some memory. I started smoking weed when I was 16 and it actually helped me with those subjects and more. My IQ actually went up. Everyone stereotypes and judges people. It’s a way of protecting ourselves but don’t assume that every stoner becomes less intellectual than before.

@blueyedgrl108 Well thanks for your response and thanks for being decent about it, I normally get a lot of unreasonable hate mail. I would agree with you to a certain extent, I personally think that marijuana can ruin someone’s life if that person is not a well balanced person. If your doing well for yourself you have a balanced lifestyle then marijuana probably wont harm your life, but some people who don’t, should probably stay away from it, I think thats fair to say.

It is sad to say that unless the American people get off their fat Asses and pressure their politicians to legalize cannabis then it will never happen. Right now California is closer then it has ever been to legalizing it completely on November 2nd with most of the population polled at 65% approval for legalization if that does not pass then we are fucked

@rainbowrants If he was diagnosed with cancer as you say, then why hasn’t the media picked it up? Our government is extremely focused on keeping this plant illegal, so wouldn’t we be hearing about it on the news? The testing on animals proves that cannibus has no L.D. 50. No animal has ever died from it, and the weird thing is in order for a substance to be a drug it has to have a L.D. 50. And yet the DEA claims cannibus is a drug. The sun gives us cancer, shall we ban it too?

@D26808 , why would anyone go on tv just because they have cancer? There are millions of people who have cancer. one person isn’t special. No, the goverment isn’t focused on it, the goverment has other issues. Its illigal for a reson. You can’t od on pot, but you die from the cancer you get from smoking it. In order for a substance to be a drug it has to “change the natural function of your body”, that is what a drug is. I never said ban weed…….

@rainbowrants It’s illegal because when slavery was abolished hemp was no longer being used for everyday things like rope, oil, paper, etc… In 1936 a machine designed to create more hemp was made and it scared the big companies that makes paper, oil, and drugs… Money makes the world go round and the government made lies saying that if you smoke it will make you crazy and will make woman have orgies with blacks and mexicans… Watch the government movie called Reefer Madness. It’s ridiculous.

@D26808 . Actually in 1937 a tax was put on the drug. Since then its been on and off, First time it was made illigal had nothing to do with the use of hemp, since hemp is NOT illigal. Its only been illigal to use it AS a drug or sell it/grow. It became illigal because it is a drug and wasn’t in the best interest of society, less than 16% of the people were for its medical uses. Where do you pull your facts from outta your ass? Go do your home work on the legal history of pot.

Yeah but the only thing flawed here is that outta the half million PEOPLE they only get cancer ONCE for EACH of them…so don’t act like it’s such a big deal…Gee Wizzz!
