Marijuana Study Shows No Lung Cancer Links
Dr. Donald Tashkin UCLA Geffen School of Medicine Pt 2 of 2. Conclusion of 2 part interview with the famous research doctor from UCLA Geffen School of Medicine. Pulmonary research on use of marijuana and interaction with the lungs was funded by the Federal Government to prove that lung cancer is caused by smoking marijuana, however the results proved cannabis does not cause lung cancer. Cannabis was made illegal because the paper industry was split between the hemp and the wood pulp factions. The wood pulp people had more money and won, which caused a negative ripple effect in our society such as the loss of a valuable medicine. Since the prohibition of cannabis began the cancer rates have grown at an alarming rate. Cannabis is used for thousands of purposes and it’s loss of use has caused great hardship to everyone. It is time for truth to prevail and prohibition to stop.

i think the government should legalize marijuana, and make only decent stuff, people are getting larynx cancer, lung cancer etc because of the bad qualitty of the pot…if they had good stuff, it would take less to get high, (less smoke)..some weed i have to smoke like a gram before i feel anything…government should control it properly instead of some of the street garbage you get, they should learn to grow a more effiicient almost no risk but potent marijuana anyone agree?

A recent study at brown university found that weed-only smokers had decreased chance of lung cancer than non-users. It’s not the first time studies have shown this either. It has been a scientific fact for a while now that THC has anti-cancerous properties. Even some of my toker friends laugh at the notion, but none of them have taken the time to research.

Funny…i just got done watching a video titled “Exposing the Myth of Smoked Medical Marijuana / Anti-Marijuana PSA Video” and it said that marijuana causes cancer, is toxic, leads to harder drugs, etc………..of course, that video was put out by some religious/moral fanatic. I tried to leave a comment and it said “pending approval”….what a fucking joke. They can’t just open the comments, that would lead to debate rather just the pure propaganda that they are shooting for.
