How the court would decide if the defendant is suffering from dementia?
The defendant gives his son a power of attorney to a civil court in an English county court to defend. After the trial period is over, but is delivered prior to the verdict reveal that the defedant is suffering from dementia. If his power of attorney valid? Is there a need for a new trial.
