How do i get an appointment at an Orthodontist?
Do i need to go to my dentists first or straight to a orthodontist, also are the orthodontists within hospitals? And if you are under 16 and within a family on benifits due to disability does this affect if you have to pay the full amount for braces? Thanks.

You can call an orthodontist within the area and ask. They might want to have some x-rays/impressions of your teeth, then send you to a dentist for extractions, cavity filling, etc. before they start treatment.
Or, if you go to a dentist, bring up the subject of braces, and have them refer you to one.
I am unsure of the benefits due to disability, but insurance helps pay for the cost. Depends on what type of benefits you have specifically. And if you are unsure, you can always ask your orthodontist.
