The best example out of any movie I know of would have to be a movie based on a true story titled “Sybil.” It’s about a woman helping a girl with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), more commonly known as Multiple Personality Syndrome. It’s about that woman helping Sybil, the patient, recover from her mental illness by uncovering her various personalities, 13 in all, some of which are boys, which stemmed from the abuse she received as a child.
