What are some medical care, which must be cooled?
I’m curious about what medical care should be stored in a temperature much lower than room temperature. It would be useful to know what am not shaken supplies as well werden.Ich working on my senior design and I’m just looking for someone to tell me weisen.Vielen in the right direction Thanks!
Most vaccines need cold storage, some in the refrigerator, others in the freezer. It’s very critical. Each of my group’s two offices have refrigerators dedicated to this purpose. Alarms are attached if the temp goes too high. No lunch bags allowed. We have a second fridge for the staff.
Vaccines are expensive. We often have $75,000 worth on hand. We pay extra for the insurance. We had power outage for four days last fall during a severe windstorm. Fortunately we had power in the second office, and transported our vaccines there.
You might design facilities with emergency back-up generators.
