Safety-net providers test medical-home concept of patient care
With a different set of volunteer doctors and dentists every day, Cross Over Ministry free clinics set a goal to have every patient see the same providers at each appointment. The free clinic and six other safety-net health-care providers in the Richmond area are taking part in a regional experiment to make health care more efficient and effective for uninsured and low-income patients.
