Conception takes 2 weeks, when I conceived I missed my following period, I knew I was pregnant because I scarfed down a Talapia at Red lobster and whole bottle of wine and then up chucked it later. I love fish and knew something was wrong for almost 3 days I couldn’t figure out why I was so moody and squimish and then I remembered while at Easter of last year I was eating a crabed deviled egg I know yuck, but it sounded good at the time. I was telling my aunt how I wanted baby and that I thought it would never happen within moments of eating it I had up chucked it and my aunt looked at me and said, you may have your wish jokingly… And sure enough counted on my calender and I was prego almost a week had missed my 1 period!

When they give you those dates that is if you are on a 28 day cycle. So they give you 4 or 5 dates and the first being the earliest and the last being the latest. So from the dates you gave your best day to get pregnant would have been on the the 9th and 10th the 7th and 8th all depends on the cervical mucus and the sperm. If you only did it on the 7th and you ovulated on the 11th then hopefully the sperm is living in a comfy place and they will live up to 4 days. When having sex on the earliest date given it all depends on how good the sperm is and how decent your cervical mucus is as they need enough of it to swim up to the egg. If the mucus is not the clear stretchy kind then it would be hard for the sperm to swim and live for a long period of time. You said you felt different on the 7th then maybe you were close too ovulating a bit earlier which would be great.
