How Can I dry or clean nebulizer tubing after accidentally getting wet?
I know you are never supposed to let a nebulizer’s tubing get wet – but I accidentally got water in it. Is there a way to get it dry? I am afraid it will grow mold/germs and cause secondary infections. Do I just have to replace the tubing or is there a way to fix what I did?

I believe it should be cleaned periodically anyway~ warm sudsy water, rinsed well and hung to dry. Also, the tubing is not intended to last the duration of the machine’s life. You may want to replace it, or even have a spare on hand for when you’re waiting for the other to dry. If you use a hair dryer, make sure it is on cool.

just let the nebulizer run while tube is attached and it should help dry it out. Also, make sure to disconnect the tubing when done so condensation doesn’t accumulate in the tubing.
