As a denturist I have seen a lot of these over the years. The biggest complaint from patients we have had with the Valplast flex partial is the material turns orange, then almost brown over a very short period. The claim that flexible partials mould to the patient’s mouth is not at all accurate. The material can be heated with hot water and the clasps can be bent back into a tighter position, but that’s as far as it goes. The best combination is a cast metal partial with colored flexible clasps.
