The above link is the best choice for you. Its one stop shop for everything from domain name to hosting and also it have good 300 gb of space for your data. For beginners its the best choice with 24×7 online help services and you can create as much emails as you like for the staff and its well protected with spams etc. Select the Professional services which will suit to you the best. Its easy and fast with many many facilities available for you from site preparing to launching and php sql services for future works. So I prefer the cheapest and the best awarded company at the current level. Best of luck.

Here is how I do it and how I also recommend doing it for my friends/clients
1) purchase your domain name at godaddy – this gives you complete DNS controlhttp://godaddy.com . Enter the domain you want, once you find one, you check out just like shopping online. You will need to create an account. And then your’re done! Make sure to save all emails from godaddy since some of them contain really important information.
2) choose a hosting company. Most hosting companies I have found are just about the same – not a lot of deltas in service, price, features, support, etc. So you can’t really lose as there are so many and they want to stay competitive with one another. The most popular are probably hostgator, inmotion, and startlogic. There are many many. Let’s say you go with hostgator.
For hosting plans, you want to probably choose the cheapest until you are more comfortable with hosting. Unless you plan to do something more complicated and host many domains, the simplest plan is probably best and you don’t need to worry much about disk space, bandwidth, # of domains, # of email accounts, etc. If you prepay a year, it is usually $4 to $8 a month. IF you go by month, it can be higher like $15 a month. That still is not that bad of a price. Once you pay for your site, you will get an activation email which will contain how to log in , how to ftp, and your nameservers
The most important pieces of info is your username, password, your “cpanel” URL (most hosting companies use cpanel), and your DNS servers (typically something like ns1.hostgator.com and ns2.hostgator.com)
This is my hostgator linkhttp://witchwebhost.com/likes/hostgator.…
3) Go back to godaddy. Click on your domain and you will come to a management interface. Look for changing your DNS servers. I think the default is something like ns1.secureserver.net . This is godaddy’s parkedd DNS servers. You want to change them to the DNS servers in your activation email. as you do this you may get a warning like “If you do this, you may have interruption in web and email service” … etc… don’t worry about it. Your site is not up yet so you won’t have any interruption.
Now that your DNS servers have changed, people know where to find your website.
4) I would do a test first. Create a file called “index.html” and in it put “Hello World from me”.
5) Ftp your files over to your hosting account. If you do not have an ftp client I recommend filezillahttp://filezilla-project.org/
You put your host, user, and pass in the top and when you connect, your local computer is on your left, your hosting server is on your right, and put the “index.html” file over into the public_html directory
6) load up your website in your browser http://yourdomain/ and your “hello world from me” should show up
7) if that looks good, transfer your site over. and you’re’ done!
