If We Had Listened To The Conservatives We Would Have No Flu Medicine, Arent You Glad We Didn’t?
The Democrats were smart enough to have passed legislation for funding of Tamiflu and other Anti-Flu drugs when we had the Avian Flu Scare to the objections of Conservatives, not a one voted for it. We now have sufficient amounts of medicine to fight this pandemic. Aren’t you glad that Conservatives are not in charge? Do they have any idea what they could have done to this country if we had no way to fight this?

Edit- Now, it won’t help much since the virus has already spread. But if we would have closed to borders sooner, no one would have hopped on a plane/crossed the border and brought the virus! It’s hardly an airborne virus.. if an infected individual breathed near the border we would not have caught it! They came HERE or an American(s) [note: the students in New York] went to Mexico bringing the virus. If we (Americans) wouldn’t have gone there, the virus would have stayed contained in Mexico. actually, bush pushed legislation on doubling our reserves of influenza anti-virals. he also required all states to prepare emergency preparedness scenarios specifically for influenza pandemics back in 2007.
why must you credit dems for everything? both parties have done good, both have done bad. i don’t think this flu strain is going to stop at certain doors based on partisan lines and skip others… do you?
