Gcse History – Paper 2 – The Renaissance (medicine) – What Sort Of Questions Will They Ask?
I’ve got my paper 2 history gcse on wednesday.
Our school are doing medicine through time so it will be on people like Vesalius, Pare, Harvey, and on inventions like the printing press.
But I really need to know, what sort of questions will they ask?
It’s an hour and 30 minutes exam, so will there be a source based question, with a 3 part question..?
Or will it be an essay on something??

Im taking the same paper, I was told that it was on British Renaissance. The main things to revise therefore are Harvey, Charles II and the Great Plague. Because paper 2 is source paper though, it is more about your ability to compare sources than your knowledge. Just make sure that you cross-reference and talk about the reliability of the source. ( btw if you are taking the same paper as me, paper 2 is considered as one of the hardest GCSE papers so the grade boundaries are pretty low
