I Read A Book A While Back And I Can’t Remember The Name Of It. Help?

I remember it was a horror book about a woman who had a sister who died (sisters name started with a c)and the sister would posses the woman. The woman had a husband named Bill. She also had a son but i can’t remember the sons name. She also had a mother who had Alzheimer really bad and would always wait for the sister to come home. The moms house burned down witch started the chain of events.Any of this ringing any bells? Oh and Bill the hubby dies because he is shot by the son on a hunting trip.
